We are looking for a structured and experienced Data Scientist SE to play a key role in Allente’s search for customer excellence and translate our data points into actionable insights and recommendations. You will play an important role in advancing our understanding of customer behavior by planning, developing, analyzing, and presenting the results of customer insight and analytical models to management and key business stakeholders. You will also play an active role in our journey to advance our Analytics and AI strategy and support our team to meet our professional goals.

The Data Scientist SE highlights opportunities and threats for the company and suggests clear actions for further improvement.

Your key responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve specific business problems (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, natural language processing).

• Visualization and storytelling: Translate complex technical findings into actionable insights, communicating results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems and drive product development.

• Perform customer segmentation and suggest actions for further improvement.

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.

• Analyze company’s performance, customer behavior & marketing activities across different channels.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present insights to the Business.

Qualifications and previous experience we want you to have:

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

• 3+ years’ experience in data science and machine learning technologies

• Proficiency in handling large datasets

• Analytical skills with experience on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy.

• Ability to provide methodological leadership in data science and machine learning.

• Understanding of statistics, machine learning, predictive models, regression models, correlation analysis, use of control groups

• Advanced skills in database interrogation, programming, and analysis tools, such as SQL, KNIME, Python, R

• Knowledge of BI Tools (Qualtrics, QlikSense, Adobe Analytics/Target/ Audience Manager)

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex analyses into clear and concise presentations and recommendations.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish is advantageous but not required.
