We are looking for a Client Architect to play an important role in development and strategy for streaming clients (apps and web) and Set-Top Boxes (STBs). This role ensures seamless integration between client and back-end systems, delivering top-tier performance and user experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, skilled in architecture and API design, and thrives in cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the architecture and strategy for streaming clients and STBs, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Oversee API design and client-backend integration to maintain seamless functionality and high-quality standards.

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other architects to troubleshoot technical challenges and align on objectives.

• Provide guidance on tools, frameworks, and best practices for app and STB development, helping Allente stay ahead in the market.

• Stay updated on industry trends, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.

• Actively participate in vendor selection processes, including RFI and RFP evaluations, to ensure the best-fit solutions for Allente.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, working with streaming clients, APIs, and app development.

• You have expertise in broadcast and streaming technologies, such as DVB, DRM, CDN, and ABR.

• You are experienced in app development, APIs, and cloud architecture.

• You understand app ecosystems and are familiar with their opportunities and challenges. Experience with STBs is a plus.

• You have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• You are passionate about innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.

• You are a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in cross-functional environments.
